Quick tip. When getting ready to print and you are not sure how the ink you just mixed is gonna look like, find a scrap piece of the paper you are going to be using and apply it. By Doing this you are going to see how the color looks and can make adjustments to it. Hope this helps!

Working in the print studio, here’s the first pr

Working in the print studio, here’s the first print of my latest linocut. One of the many things I love about the medium is feeling like a scientist when I print, creating a system that can reproduce a decent edition takes time and many adjustments. I was blessed by the universe that day when the pressure was just right on the first try. I ended up creating an edition of 10. Happy printing!

Recap of the 3rd Dia de los muertos festival at @h

Recap of the 3rd Dia de los muertos festival at @highfallscountypark. I had the opportunity to collaborate with the artist Adrian Garcia a local artist in the community. We created a 5x6.7 ft painting, during the event we worked on the painting as the kids painted wooden butterflies that are going to be added to the installation of this painting. We are still setting up a date for the unveiling of this painting and reveal of where this piece is going to be install. Thank you to everyone that participated in the butterfly community painting!
